Hi, I have a Ecopure II whole house. Can this carbon filter be used as pre filter alternative to Melt Blown Sediment Filter? And which is better as a pre filter carbon or melt blown?

Hi, I have checked the system you have, and yes, you can replace the filter with CTO 4510-05.
Melt blown filter is only reducing sediment, Carbon - does sediment, chlorine, other gasses and VOC.

The filter should be changed at 46,000 litres or every 6 months whichever comes first
