I presume you can add fruit in the lower section to flavour water say oranges or lemons or is this not recommended / could damage filters etc, many thanks
Question by: Dave Mollison on 8 Feb 2021, 13:54
I think that would be fine, the filters won't be in any contact with the fruit, and the vitamin C would be great!

Hi

My filter has just arrived (super quick!) Thank you.
On the lid is a suction cap in a hole - what is this for? Also the kit and filters all came with silicone washers. What are these for and where do they go as there is no mention of them in your online instructions or in those that came with the filters?
Many thanks
Question by: Rebecca Valentine on 11 Mar 2021, 13:22
The suction cup is to prevent an airlock. It needs to be open.
Silicone washers to be used in the top housing, fit them to the stems of filters before you install them, and then use one of the black washers on the other side, under wingnut. Silicon washers are a new addition and creating a good seal.
We are updating the manual.

Hello, could I also use this housing together with my Black and White Berkey filters? Thank you
Question by: Edith on 12 Apr 2021, 12:34
Yes, Berkey elements can be used with clarity- you need an additional washer - which can be supplied.

Hi, I'm looking for a system that puts all the healthful minerals back into the water - do any of your filters do this?
Thank you.
Question by: Claire on 25 Apr 2021, 12:48
Hi,
The Osmio Clarity Gravity filter only targets impurities. Minerals are left in water. However, minerals forming limescale - so the kettle still will require descaling with this filter.
We also have Osmio Zero - the system which purifies water to a very pure state and then organic minerals are added as a last stage of filtration.

Do your filters remove aluminum?
Thank you
Question by: Giedre on 13 May 2021, 14:23
Yes. The filters tested by the independent laboratory. Reports show 98% reduction of aluminum.

Does this filter remove Graphene Oxide?
Question by: Michelle shiels on 12 Aug 2021, 10:02
This impurity is not tested. To ensure reduction we would recommend looking into getting an RO system.

RO systems reduce impurities on the ionic level and typically will do a 96-99% reduction of everything

Hi, im really interested in purchasing the Osmio Clarity Gravity Water Filter System but was wondering whether i would need to re-mineralise? i currently add minerals to my tap water but want something cleaner obviously.
Thanks
Question by: Amelia Koutsavakis on 15 Sep 2021, 10:32
Osmio Clarity is using gravity filters, they do not reduce minerals. Filters do not target minerals - water does not require reminiralosation.
