The Osmio EZFITPRO-100 uses a top of the range NSF/WRAS certified carbon block water filter, water filter housing, plus WRAS (NSF) certified 15mm John Guest push fittings for a easy and simple quick connect to 15mm pipe (either copper or plastic speed fit pipe).
How it works - Inline Water Filter 15mm
The Osmio filter housings with buttress threads for 9-3/4 in. filter cartridges are made from NSF and FDA grade materials, manufactured from the highest quality, FDA grade, 100% polypropylene and acrylic styrene. They have a leak-proof sealing is accomplished by compression against a top seated EPDM o-ring located in the housing’s sump. Thick wall and added ribs make the housings ideal for a wide range of applications. Polypropylene construction provides excellent chemical resistance with most acids, alcohol, ammonia, oils, plating solutions and many aggressive chemicals.

5 Micron Carbon Block
The Osmio Carbon Block filters use coconut carbon filtration technology to maximize the carbon capacity and prevent channelling whilst maintaining a low pressure drop leading to more efficient water filtration.
The filter is a compatible replacement water filter cartridge for similar 10" filter housings including brands such as Pentek, Ametek, Culligan, Whirlpool and so on. It will fit all under sink water filter housings which use a standard size small 10" x 2.5" filter replacement cartridge.

The Osmio EZFITPRO Undersink Water Filter Kit is a simple and effective compact Water Filter unit with 15mm Push Fittings for easy connection to copper or plastic 15mm pipe.
Only can be used with cold water
The Full Kit contains the following:
1 x Osmio NSF Certified Housing White Sump; White Cap; 1/2 in. FNPT with 15mm John Guest Push Fittings (FH4200WW12)
1 x Spanner
1 x Bracket with 4 Mounting Screws
1 X 5 MICRON Carbon Block

1. Turn off the water supply to the filter and tap & open the tap to release the water pressure, leave the tap open.
2. Unscrew the filter bowl from the housing with the spanner provided.
3. Check & regrease the o-ring with plumber's silicon grease.
4. Insert the new filter, replace the housing bowl & retighten (being careful not to overtighten).
5. Turn the water supply back on & flush for 5 minutes.
6. Close the tap and adjust the pressure release screw on the system to release any air, a little bit of water will come out, then fully tighten the screw.

Activated carbon is capable of reducing PAFS, to some degree, but the level of reduction achieved with Activated carbon will depend on many factors, like, the concentration of chemicals in the water and the contact time between the water and the filter etc.
Reverse Osmosis technology would be the most suitable method of PFAS reduction, with reduced levels of typically 93-96% reduction.
If you are concerned about the levels of any particular contaminant the only way to be sure of the exact level of reduction is to check the influent and effluent of the filter system over a period of time getting both tested at a laboratory.
