I have the original Osmio Duo water bottle. I use it with the vented cap and cannula. Would it generate more oxygen if I fill it nearly to the top with water? I realise that with the sealed cap on, doing this could cause extereme pressure and perhaps explode the glass bottle, but with the vented cap and cannula there would be no such pressure build-up.
Question by: stephan on 7 Jul 2022, 12:07
Adding more water to the Duo bottle, whilst inhaling with the vented cap & cannula, will not increase the hydrogen production.

Q1 I DON'T HAVE RO WATER OR DISTILLED WATER. SO WHAT NOW?
Q2 WITH THE ASH ROSE MODEL I CAN PRESS THE BUTTON TWICE DOES THIS APPLY TO THE GENESIS MODEL? THANK YOU
Q3 DOES THIS GENESIS MODEL NEED TO BE CLEANED? IE 1 MEASURE OF VINEGAR ETC AND 3 OF WATER

Q1 I DON'T HAVE RO WATER OR DISTILLED WATER. SO WHAT NOW?
You can use any pottable water with the bottle. Best saturation is achieved with RO or Distilled Water.

Q2 WITH THE ASH ROSE MODEL I CAN PRESS THE BUTTON TWICE DOES THIS APPLY TO THE GENESIS MODEL? THANK YOU
you need to run 2 x 5 min cycles.

Q3 DOES THIS GENESIS MODEL NEED TO BE CLEANED? IE 1 MEASURE OF VINEGAR ETC AND 3 OF WATER
yes, if it is used with hard water.

I used to bring the Duo base travelling and reuse glass bottles from regular juice or water you buy with screw top on the base as convenient when travelling ( I also lost the big bottle it came with along the way).

A few Questions

1 - I wonder now does that allow the Duo to achieve higher pressure as the glass bottle is fully closed once screwed on ( no lid ). have you tested that ?

2 - I have not used the duo in a perhaps 6 months - memebrane still funcitonal do you think ? Any issues here>?

3. Do you stock a water ionizer ? If not why not ? I have built up a bit of trust in your brand - I want one and was disappointed to see you don't have on offer. Thoughts?

4. Finally - dont you want to get away from Plastic contact here ?

5. Actually one more - any structured water vortex maxing plans for water bottle - I also would like this.

I may by your blue drops to do some testing.

Yours in Water :)

Hi Rob, thanks for your questions:
1) You should not do this because the glass can explode and cause injury. The lid has pressure relief to make sure it doesn't happen with the glass supplied with the bottle. However, if its h2 content you want to maximise, then you should use a plastic bottle a thick one which can hold lots of pressure.
2) The only issue would be if it were allowed to get dry, or be exposed to very high and very low temps.
3) No because its much better to use reverse osmosis and a hydrogen water bottle, flow through ionisers rely on impurities in the water, you cannot connect a reverse osmosis filter to then, that's why you only see them with limited inline filters, so by their very nature they do not filter out anywhere near the quality of reverse osmosis and they don't work unless there is TDS (minerals, metals etc) in the water. So now do you see why we have never sold these?
4) Hydrogen has had a big game changing impact of people's lives, and there are always trade off and benefits. It is better for people to get the Genesis if they want to achieve 4-5mg/l simply because the thick plastic holds more pressure. And there are many that would be in the position to prefer that, but if not, there is always there Duo. Even in that, plastic cannot be avoided. It's impossible to do every thing with glass and far worse with stainless steel, think corrosion.
5) We have Double Helix Water

I want to get a cannula lid and nassal fpr a 240 genesis
Question by: Peter Quail on 23 Dec 2022, 10:14
This bottle doesn't have this feature, but you do have this with the Osmio Duo, however if you want to breathe hydroxy gas or hydrogen, it's best to get a machine for that like the Osmio Infinity Hydroxy Brown's Gas Inhalation Machine

hello what happens if I do 3 cycles and drink it? Thanks
Question by: David on 20 Mar 2023, 18:37
Hello, we recommend using 2 cycles maximum. Cycling three times will increase the pressure and you may alsio then notice that the bubbles do not rise as freely, it will not result in a significant increase in hydrogen content, hence the recommendation for 2 cycles maximum.

Is it ok to use a milton tablet to clean the bottle? If not what is the correct way?
Question by: Ravinder on 18 Aug 2023, 15:03
Yes, you can do this, just be conscious of how strong and how long, and don't leave it too long on the generator part itself due to its corrosive effect. You can also use water with a bit of citric acid to descale it. You can immerse the lid in water in Milton to make it go into the tiny hole in the lid to sanitize that bit (which is actually where water gets a bit stuck and cannot dry)

I have a duo and a genesis, the duo states to release pressure between 2 cycles, which I do, I have also been doing that with the genesis, but notice in the FAQ it states you do not have to release pressure during cycles with the genesis, but that is not mentioned in the manual, which is correct?
Question by: Neil on 20 Aug 2023, 19:08
It wouldn't matter doing multiple cycles without releasing the lid for the Genesis, but it does for the Duo, simply to do with plastic vs glass ability to hold pressure.
