Lightbest UV8 (30 LPM) UV Steriliser System 30w - All Questions
Hi, I'm looking to replace a 21 lpm ultra voilet system with this 30lpm version. Is the extra lpm going to be a problem, or should I get a smaller one? Thank you

No it won't be a problem but it will occupy more space so that may be a problem, so would check dimensions first.

Hi I fitted this Lightbest sug-8 uv light coming up three years ago. Had the council out for a supply risk assessment and the inspector wanted to know if this product is WRAS Approved as anything used in private water supply fitted from 1 Jan 2010 must be approved for use with drinking water.

Hi,
It is not WRAS approved, but it is approved and tested for drinking water. The material is 304 Stainless steel.

This system is designed to control microbiology. If your aim is bacteria and algae reduction, and your peak flow rate is around 30 LPM - then it suitable.
