I have noticed that you have said the cartridge lasts for 2 to 3 months what is this based on, a family of four showering everyday or 2 people showering everyday

It's based on the amount of water used and it can also vary depending on how much chlorine is in the water.

the filter connects to 1/2'' female hose, as long as shower hoses in Canada is 1/2'' - the shower head can be used.

The chloramine is a compound of chlorine and ammonia, we have not tested chloramine reduction and cant confirm if chloramine can be neutralised,

The vitamin C in the shower filter reacts with the chlorine in the water and neutralises it, it does not remove it from the water. If you would like a chlorine reduction filter which can be installed at your property at point of entry then please contact us info@omsiowater.co.uk so we can recommend the right size to meet your needs.

I have an older model of the shower head and the holes are blocked and will not clear. Is there any replacement that I can get please?

Have you tried descaling the screen with citric acid powder or a white vinegar solution? The fabric filters will need replacing every 3-4 months to ensure there are no blockages from sediment. We don't recommend using the handheld shower filter with a power shower due to the back pressure created by the shower head.
