Purolite Mixed Bed Resin is used for many applications to achieve demineralisation of water. This could be for window cleaning, car wash, labs, industrial processes and so on. This type of resin is typically throw away (i.e. not regenerated), although it is regenerable. It contains a high quality mixture ratio of 40% Gel Strong Acid Cation and 60% Gel Type I Strong Base Anion resins. These amber coloured polystyrenic gel beads have a positive and negative charge that helps with the removal of most impurities – Inc. calcium, nitrates, manganese and chlorides. They are suitable for use in regenerable and non-regenerable cartridges as well as large ion exchange units.
