Osmio EZFITPRO-200 Undersink Water Filter Kit 15mm Push Fit

The Osmio EZFITPRO-200 Chlorine, Limescale & Lead Water Filter System is an ideal water filter system for installing under the kitchen sink. The system has no need for a separate tap as it will filter all the water coming from your existing kitchen tap. This is because the Osmio EZFITPRO-200 Chlorine, Limescale & Lead Water Filter System uses 15mm push fittings for the inlet and outlet. This means your 15 mm copper or plastic pipe can simply be pushed into the unit and released with ease.

The Osmio EZFITPRO-200 Chlorine, Limescale & Lead Water Filter System therefore makes a perfect solution for an easy installation as it can be fitted in less than 15 minutes. The system is perfect if you have a solid kitchen worktop (marble, granite, stone, wood etc.) and do not want to have a separate tap in place. There is an option to have this exact system with a separate tap and fitting kit if you would prefer to have this option, as many people which children or very elderly persons do often prefer a separate tap.

We recommend checking your water pressure before installing the system as it requires a 1.5 bar minimum pressure.

What does the Osmio EZFITPRO-200 Chlorine, Limescale & Lead Water Filter System remove?

There are two filters in the system, which both serve a different purpose with the ultimate result being purified, clean, healthy and great tasting water for all your drinking, cooking, washing and cleaning needs.

Filter 1: Osmio NSF Certified 5 micron Carbon Block - changed every 6 months

Top-of-the-line NSF certified coconut shell carbon block filter cartridge for chlorine, taste, odour and sediment reduction. Media wrap between center tube and carbon block to reduce carbon fines. Made from 100% Natural Coconut Shell Carbon. Up to 99% chlorine reduction. FDA grade components & materials.

Filter 2: The Osmio 2.5 x 10 Chlorine & Limescale Filter -  changed approx every 3-6 months (dependent on hardness and overall water quality)

✔ Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) – for chlorine, taste and odour reduction

✔ De-alk resin – for temporary hardness and heavy metal reduction

The Osmio 2.5 x 10 Chlorine & Limescale Filter incorporates granular activated carbon (GAC) which is combined with De-alk resin. The filter is effective against chlorine, taste and odour, heavy metals e.g. lead, and will also tackle hard water, which is seen as limescale in kettles and as an unsightly scum on the surface of hot drinks. Water hardness varies greatly depending upon location, so the filter will need to be replaced at approx 3 - 6 monthly intervals or longer all of which entirely depends on the hardness of your water, water quality and the amount of water you use.

Filter reminders

By buying this product online, you will receive automatic filter reminder emails every 6 months so you do not need to worry about remembering when to change them.

Recycling and disposing of these filters

Both of these filters will need the granular carbon within the filter to be emptied out and can be used for soil drainage and compost. The plastic components from the filters can then be placed within the plastic recycling.

I have moved into a house that has the Osmio EZFITPRO-200 water Filter system in November. i am not sure which taps are served by the filters. also I do not know how to replace them. can you advise me please? I have a central water pipe which has two taps. One tap is hot and cold ,the other shorter one is cold and seems less chlorinated. Are both taps filtered?
Question by: Anne Schutzer-Weissmann on 3 May 2023, 11:50
Usually the EZFITPRO-200 filter kit is used to filter the cold feed to an existing tap but if you have two cold water taps then you can send over images of the installation to info@osmiowater.co.uk and we can have a look. You will find filter change instructions in the manual https://www.osmiowater.co.uk/mwdownloads/download/link/id/76

can this be used in conjunction with a softwater system ?
Question by: colin brookes on 31 Aug 2021, 10:27
If you have a salt softener - the system is not suitable. This filter does not reduce sodium. You need a reverse osmosis system to filter softened water.

Hi there I am after a filter system to directly connect into my existing kitchen sink tap for drinking water with out the need for an additional tap. Do you have a 3 or 4 stage system that doesn’t restrict the flow rate and pressure?

Thanks
Ciaran
Question by: Ciaran Mallon on 4 Oct 2023, 08:56
There is an inverse relationship between water quality and flow rate, so you could put 4 sediment and granular media filters inline which would mean not a huge pressure and flow loss but also not as good filtration

Hi,
Does this setup affect the water pressure and flow rate on existing tap?

Also do you have a spec sheet listing the contaminents and the percentages of what it removes?

Thanks
Question by: Ciaran on 4 Oct 2023, 10:48
Yes it will affect it.
No there isn't a technical data sheet for this particular product as a system. There is for Osmio Clarity which is standalone, so nothing to do with the tap.

Hi there,

How much does this reduce the water pressure? I'm planning to feed this into a Quooker tap so that all water is filtered (by default, the Quooker only filters water on demand). The Quooker requires a minimum input of 2 bar.

I appreciate the input pressure is a factor, but how much reduction is expected, if any?

Many thanks,
Graeme
